Estudio Arco is an architecture firm founded in 1988 by Mr. Joaquín González-Miranda. We specialize in designing religious spaces, restoring devotional objects, and creating sacred art.

Our projects include complete architectural design and the management of all tasks required to carry out each project. The architectural project is complemented by the design of specific elements of sacred art: altars, altarpieces, furniture, liturgical objects, and all the ornamental elements included in the project.

Sacred art enriches humanity’s cultural and artistic heritage. It fundamentally serves believers by stimulating their prayer, enabling deeper contemplation of Christian faith, and elevating their spirit from material objects to eternal truth. In some way, the artist becomes the voice of the universal expectation of Redemption.

To express the rich content of sacred art, architectural language is clearly insufficient; it is also necessary to integrate all the plastic arts. For this reason, at Estudio Arco, we ensure that our projects involve a collaborative team of painters, sculptors, goldsmiths, glaziers, etc. Their works are thus integrated, in a unified way, into the architectural projects we carry out, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality execution.

For many centuries, wonderful works of religious art have been created, and it is up to our generation to maintain this heritage passed down to us by previous generations. For this reason, we at Estudio Arco are deeply committed to this cause. We have created a workshop where we carry out conservation and restoration work on art pieces and new creations. We are aware that the conservation of artistic heritage requires the contribution of knowledge and techniques from professionals working in various fields. We have integrated into this team restorers, sculptors, architects, biologists, chemists, radiologists, specialists in Art History, wood, and gilding, and we use the possibilities offered by current technology to achieve the highest possible quality in our work.
